Gabriel F. Sottile, President of Sawyer Savings Bank, with headquarters in Saugerties, New York, announced that Jordan DePuy has been promoted to the position of Mortgage Officer of the Bank’s Residential Lending Department.
Mr. DePuy joined Sawyer in April of 2014 and served as Commercial Loan Underwriter in the Commercial Loan Department located in the Highland Branch Office until this recent promotion. Jordan is a graduate of Seton Hall Stillman School of Business with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and a member of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA). He also was the Seton Hall Basketball Manager.
Mr. DePuy will be responsible for the Bank’s business development activities within the Residential Lending Department and for making recommendations on how the Bank can meet customer needs and take a proactive role in changes affecting the banking industry. He will oversee the operations of the Originations, Processing and Servicing functions for all bank Residential Lending.
In commenting on Jordan’s promotion, President Sottile noted, “we are pleased that Jordan has accepted the Mortgage Officer position. We are delighted to have him as a part of our Sawyer team and expect a successful transition into this new role.”
