Presidents Message, May 12

Dear Valued Customers:

The past few weeks have been unlike anything ever seen, and we are all adjusting to a new reality. The Sawyer Savings Bank team has rallied around each other, our customers, and our communities, and it is an honor to work with them at this unique time in our history. We are united and focused on keeping people healthy and safe – personally, professionally, and financially.

Community banks are the keystone of neighborhoods and it is important for our community to know they can count on us. We take that trust seriously. I want to let you know about some of the things we are doing to help minimize the impact COVID-19.

Relationship banking at a distance:

In addition to our drive-thru service and phone appointments, remember there are many other ways you can bank with us. You can access your accounts through online banking, our mobile app, and our network of ATM’s. Please use the AllPoint app to identify ATM’s near you where no service fee is charged.

Many people are experiencing financial difficulties as a result of this crisis. Our personal banking, business banking, and residential mortgage teams are ready to help. We will discuss your situation and determine the best plan to meet your needs. If you have any questions or concerns, Call us. We’re here to help.

We remain available to you:

We’re looking forward to the time we can see you again, face-to-face. Be assured, we’re making plans to carefully and responsibly reopen our lobbies when it’s safe and appropriate. In the meantime, we’ll continue to be here for you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us by phone or email.

Thank you for being a Sawyer Savings Bank customer and for your ongoing trust in us.

Doug Sturges,
President, Sawyer Savings Bank
