Vice President – Lending – Saugerties, NY –  Ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:  Education Requirements: BA/BS Business Administration or Equivalent; Previous Experience Requirements: 3-4 years previous experience in a loan origination and servicing capacity to include planning, marketing and supervisory responsibilities. Must be active within the community, develop and maintain a referral network consisting of real estate agents, brokers, attorneys, businesspeople and other sources. Responsible for overseeing the operations of the Sales, Originations, Processing and Servicing functions for all bank residential, commercial and consumer lending, to include collection functions.  Responsible for the overall organization, supervision, training and operation of the residential, commercial and consumer lending functions and personnel to include planning, scheduling, and monitoring of workflow, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and Bank policy.  Responsible for increasing revenues through the creation, development and implementation of residential, commercial, and consumer loan products to include solicitation of new business/customers. This includes the pricing, policies, and procedures for delivery of these products. Responsible for increase in revenue by achieving department production and business development goals through sales, marketing and advertising media.  Responsible for approval of loans within the limits as outlined in loan policies. Responsible for the packaging and selling of mortgage loans to investors in the secondary mortgage market. Must maintain current knowledge and information about FNMA, FHLMC, and all other entities through which loans are sold. Responsible for preparation of Quality Control Audits for investors. Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of reports, to include monthly production figures and construction loan progress, as required by the Board, other departments and external agencies.  Responsible for managing the maintenance, repair, and disposal of properties obtained through foreclosure. Responsible for assuring that non-performing, classified, or charged-off loans are controlled, monitored and managed. Review operational issues, verify collateral, and pursue collections opportunities and obtain and analyze financial data.  Responsible for controlling costs within the residential, commercial and consumer loan departments by setting a realistic budget, monitoring the performance against the budget during the year, and making effective use of people and funding.

Branch Manager – Marlboro NY – Sawyer Savings Bank is looking for a Branch Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Marlboro branch office. The successful candidate will be in charge of overseeing and coordinating all sales and operations for the branch. They are directly responsible for hiring staff, onboarding, and training new staff members, and developing goals to maintain sales performance.
